with Pubisher one can pre-set view sets for particular purpose.
for example, we might want to produce several sets of drawing for a project:
1. Preliminary Drawing
2. approval Drawing
3. Construction Drawing.

Each set of drawing might have different scale, detail, section, etc.
if we set the layer combination properly, we can hide some of the things that we do not want to show. therefore, in order to save this information, we then use the publisher to do it (in the project map). having done that, it will also speed up navigation inside AC.

In Publisher, we can set floor plans, sections, details, and 3D views:
1. scale ( except perspective views).
2. Layer combination to be shown.
3. Zooom level. (at the zoom level when u redefine the drawing).
4. if it's a 3D view, you can choose to generate it in 3D window.

To publish in AC:
---you must be in EDITOR MODE.
---you can choose to publish the whole view set or just drag the drawing to a new view set.
---just press "Publish" button into a series of file type: pmk, dwg, all kinds of image formats.

Most importantly, you can later import the ".pln" file into Plotmaker for
printing or ploting. These drawing can be pasted onto individual layout retaining it's name, scale, layer combinations....etc as set in publisher or all onto 1 single layout. Any change in the PLN will be updated in the layout Book. so far so good.

通过Publish，我们可以为特殊的用途预先设定几套View Set。举个例子，对于一个项目来说，我们可能需要画出几套不同的图纸：
1）方案图
2）报批图
3）施工图
译注：老实说，上面的Preliminary 和 approval 我不知道对应过来到底应该是什么

每一份图纸可能会有不同的比例、剖面、详图等等。如果我们适当的设定了图层组合，我们就可以隐藏一些我们不想打印出来的东西。我们可以使用Publish（在Project Map里面）来保存这些信息。同时，这也可以加速AC里面的……导航？（我想还是翻译成定位比较好）

在Publish里面，我们可以设置 平面、剖面、详图以及三维视图的以下方面：
1）比例（除了透视图）；译注：当然，透视图没有比例一说。不过LiHigh忘记了轴测图
2）要显示的图层组合；
3）放大程度（当重新定义图纸的时候，在Zoom Level设置）；
4）如果是一个3D视图，可以选择在3D Window里面生成；译注：没有明白LiHigh想说什么

要在AC里面进行Publish：
1）必须在编辑模式中；
2）可以选择发布（Publish）整个View Set或者拖拽一个Drawing到一个新的Vew Set里面；
3）只需要按一下Publish按钮，然后从一系列文件中选择：PMK，DWG，或者是图像文件。

更重要的是，你可以稍候在PlotMaker中导入整个PLN文件以便打印。这些Drawing将被粘贴岛独立Layout中，并且保持在Publish中设定的名字、比例、图层组合……等等不便。或者也可以粘贴到一个单一的Layout里面。PLN中的任何修改都将再Plotmaker中得到更新。

這裡有一個重要概念Navagator分為兩個選項，左邊project map是取自網絡的導航地圖概念，右邊View Sets 則整合了AC7的quick views/project publisher等，可以隨意組合，例如給結構工程師的View Sets ，給業主的View Sets...等 ，日後有修改再Publish一次即可。

我想意思是View Sets 可直接紀錄所有資訊，包括視角/日照陰影...等參數，不需轉出各個3D視圖。例如View Sets 在可記錄：
1. 透视图＿由東往基地看
2. 透视图＿由西往基地看
...

因為也整合了AC7的quick views，下回再點它，可直接而快速的進入先前設定畫面，參數不會跑掉！

Publish可取代Print 、Plot、save as、quick views、plot flow1.4...等，更可發佈到網站上，與遠端同事或業主溝通，真是太神了。
