My name is Bill Jackson, I represent ArchiCAD in the United States, Oklahoma, Arkansas & Southwest Missouri.

I have several large firms that are interested in international outsourcing using ArchiCAD 8.0 R2V2 either MAC or PC.

I am looking for companies who would like to participate in this project and hopefully enlarge the program as we experience the success that I think is evident.



The following is a brief outline of the process:

All documents must be submitted in English
All units of measure must be Imperial
My company will be responsible for all direct contact to the customers
My staff, (Architect, AIA with a masters from the University of Minn. And an ArchiCAD user for 4 years) will visit with the customer, review the project and provide design information to the participating companies for review and bid.
One or more companies will be selected to perform the work based on competitive bids and qualifications to do the work.
All information will be transmitted via intranet.
As stages of the project are completed the files will be forwarded to our Audit Department to review and markup the work that has been done.
As the project is completed, reviewed by both our Audit Department as well as the customer we will make payment immediately.
Payment can be made directly via letter of credit based on the outline above or deposited into a US Bank of your choice.

我来泼泼冷水吧:
1.  国内AC用户到底有多少呢?   从ABBS和XD上经常看到的网名来看,老一批加新一批,30个人差不多吧.  加上不上网或不发贴的人,加二倍也没多少.
2. D版用户做老外的东西会有麻烦吧.
3. 全部标注用英制?  一棍子把全部的国内建筑师打死了,谁懂啊?  这不光是把公制转成英制这么简单, 涉及到类似模数制这一类的约定.
4. 完工经审核后付款?  My God,  怎么听都觉得象是砧板上的肉啊.
......
5. 呵呵! 最重要的是国内建筑师英文能真刀真枪用的没几个吧?

呵呵。
这比和台湾人合作还要不切实际。

没那么悲观吧，国内有几个院正要上Z版AC，人家说根本不需要汉化，估计英文水平和老外交流没问题，一上就是几十个节点，我们很快会有许多新朋友了！

AutoCAD、3D Studio MAX/VIZ、Photoshop、Dreamwave、Visual C++、ArchiCAD、CuteFTP，我都使用英文版。
就软件里面的那几个单词，又不需要词法语法，还不是小Case。

我们也成立一个AC项目工作室，参与项目设计和投标中去，如果英语不行，那就加上我，等结算大米的时候大家按劳分成不就行了吗？

原来老外用的是大米。这就好办了，ZOOD，国外多少斤大米可以换一套正版得AC？

就是英制单位搞不定,(老美也太土了吧,还在用英寸)英文倒不是主要问题.

不是简单的英制单位吧？
我刚读书的时候为了学习AutoCAD，买了一本希望的烂书，说了半天比例转换，头晕。如果老外用这种单位，我一辈子也不知道怎么画图了。

英制也没什么啊！主要是要清楚别人的模数，老外的英制如转换成公制都要精确到MM级!他们的门窗都是成品标件!
