SurvCADD is the flagship product of Carlson Software.
SurvCADD is sold in modules
that, taken together, cover virtually all aspects of surveying and site-based civil
engineering.  
SurvCADD has evolved in tandem with the evolution of AutoCAD, and has

The COGO-DESIGN Module is all that is needed for downloading and entering field work
clear through design and drafting of the boundary survey or

subdivision plat. Working

calculation.


The DTM Contour Module has helped build the reputation of SurvCADD and Carlson Software.

industry in simplicity and speed. SurvCADD's Contour-DTM Module was the first out with 3D
Polyline Offset,

Extend and Trim working within AutoCAD.
The 3D Polyline by Slope on

utility profile work, cross sections and section-based volumes.

keyboard entry with screen graphics, including outslope catch functionality that

mimics
templates. Advanced features include superelevation (per AASHTO), variable lane widths,
mass diagrams, flexible highway staging volumes

(partial lane construction), haul distance
analysis and cutsheets.


The Hydrology Module is the perfect companion to round out a suite of SurvCADD software
for the designer and engineer. It includes your

necessary design and analysis routines
for surface hydrology in the civil, mining, and engineering world. While linking to
SEDCAD, HEC-RAS and

HEC 2, SurvCADD utilizes the TR-20 and TR-55 methods for most types
of storm routing.
