《All That You Can’t Leave Behind》

摇滚国度最高精神领袖U2组成已22年，他们在摇滚音乐史上已竖立起不可撼动的地位与声望。随着这些年来一路冲锋陷阵，四人一心轰轰烈烈缔造出空前绝后100白金的唱片销量。蛰伏3年，万众瞩目的全新大碟《All That You Can’t Leave Behind(无法遗忘)》已正式发行！
这张新专辑保留了60年代节奏蓝调的曲风，在某些方面与The Beach Boys的经典名作《Pet Sounds》有几分相似。音乐的表现更加自然、合理，重点再度转向鼓，流畅的快感像是工业摇滚吉他节拍贯穿的Elevation。在素材取样过程中，乐队尽量不让这些制作加工盖过弹奏本身，柔缓的切分音形成的鼓乐与旋律性的节奏吉他，慢慢弥漫着灵魂乐感觉。
专辑中收录的歌曲更是首首精彩：“Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of”打造出新类福音曲风；“When I Look At The World”充满飘浮感；“Elevation”具备慑人气势与讽刺特质，连结心与心之间的距离；“Kite”有未经斧凿的清新特质；“Peace On Earth”是主唱Bono近几年来发自内心深处最真诚的声音。Bono在唱法也作出一些改变，尤其是在低音域的地方最为明显，像是满布和谐的情歌Wild Honey与缓缓堆砌而成的Kite。
王牌制作人Brian Eno(大卫鲍伊)、Daniel Lanois与U2结缘于第4张专辑《The Unforgettable Fire(难忘之火)》，此次再度由这对全胜组合操刀。主打歌“Beautiful Day(美丽的一天)”已使U2睽违4年再度登上英国金榜冠军宝座，为乐队再创傲人的美丽纪录。
