Valencia, Spain, label Margen Records brings us PSICODREAMICS, a.k.a. Salva Moreno. He collaborates with vocalist Priscilla Hernandez and American ambient artist Frances Lyons, a.k.a. Godot, in Enigma-like sounds that extend beyond the imagination.

Psicodreamics is the music project of Salva Moreno, an Spanish musician who lives in a Mediterranean coast city called Valencia. He has been developing his musical art since 1990. He has composed many albums and themes principally inspired upon fantasy and mythology. He has a versatile style, from ambient to symphonic, from new age to film music. Similar artists are Constance Demby, Vangelis or Mike Olfield. He is affiliated in S.G.A.E. (Spanish Authors General Society) and has been successful in many ambient-electronic music radio shows and magazines in many countries around the world. Recently his last album Azhdark Passion has been released sucessfully by Spanish label Margen Records

Transfixions

Transfixions is a music project formed in 1999. The music is hard to label as one specific genre, but can be described as a blend of ambient, new age, electronica, darkwave, and ethnic music. It ranges from dreamy and relaxing, to more upbeat, all with an evoking, atmospheric, and sometimes dark and moody soundscape.

On the debut album, titled Transfixions I, much inspiration and sound has been drawn from the voyage of man into outer-space, beginning with the 1969 launch to the moon.?Different cultures from around the world also served as inspiration, including the Lakota of North America, and the inhabitants of India, Tibet, and Indonesia. Ethnic percussion are used on most of the songs, often combined with modern rhythms. Female Sanskrit chants appear on "No Words To Speak", and ethnic vocals can also be heard on "Age of Belief and Beyond" and "In A Perfect World". Different kind of ethnic sounds are also used in the background to create the atmosphere, including ancient flutes, wind chimes, and chants.

A second full-length album is currently in production and is expected to be released soon.?Guest musicians from around the world are contributing their talents to make it the best Transfixions work yet!
